The light available to a photographer is often not ideal. But such problems are opportunities. Poor light can be marvellous and extraordinary.
Side light….. sometimes unflattering, always dramatic.
Or, barely any light at all. And a little bit of underexposure :
Fluorescent lighting is not pretty. (No “automatic white balance” with a film camera! ) :
